About Opus V

The name Opus V is inspired by the Latin word opus, meaning a grand work of art, and the Roman numeral five, symbolizing the five designs that anchor our core collection. Opus V blends timeless artistry with bold innovation, celebrating craftsmanship and the significance of every piece in the collection.
Meg, the founder and designer behind Opus V, earned her BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of the Arts in 2015 and continued her training in an apprenticeship with Sharon Church. Sharon’s mentorship instilled in Meg the philosophy of creating “art for the body,” where jewelry becomes a vessel for personal expression. For Meg, jewelry is more than adornment; it’s a tactile dialogue between maker and wearer. Her work emerges from a desire to connect—to create pieces that resonate on an emotional level and tell a story uniquely tied to the individual. Each piece of Opus V jewelry is designed to be cherished for generations, celebrating the beauty of craftsmanship, and the intimacy of human connection.
We are profoundly grateful to everyone who played a part in bringing Opus V to life. To the friends, family, mentors, and supporters who offered their guidance, encouragement, and belief in this dream, your impact is woven into every piece we create. Most of all, our deepest thanks go to our dear friend Amanda Milena. From the very beginning, she has been a cornerstone of this journey, sharing her brilliance, dedication, and boundless insight to help build this brand from the ground up. Her vision and unwavering support have been instrumental in shaping Opus V into what it is today.
